We deliver quality handling solutions and exceptional levels of customer service across a range of sectors including agri-bulks, energy bulks and minerals. With a fully automated conveyor fed import and export system the terminal provides highly efficient unloading and loading of vessels.
Modern facilities guarantee fast and efficient unloading and loading of vessels and trucks. Additionally we offer high quality storage capacity and multiple added-value services such as screening, bagging, weighing and grinding. Ships agency, husbandry and customs clearance services are also available.
The excellent water and road connections combined with the outstanding trans-shipment and storage capabilities enable us to meet today’s customer demands, as well as the challenges of the future.
That is exactly why we have invested in a new hopper and additional covered storage to further diversify into other dry-bulk products, products that often require high quality covered storage and state of the art processing equipment.
With development land secured and planning approvals in place, there are exciting future expansion and growth opportunities available.

Contributing to the world of tomorrow. That’s what we do at HES Humber Bulk Terminal. We are an important switch in the continuous delivery of essential building blocks for our everyday life. The bread, cereals and pasta that we eat or the beer or spirits that we drink. The chances are that the necessary raw ingredients for these products were transported via our terminal. It’s the same for the biofuels that provide our heat and energy and for the aggregates and minerals that we use in construction and manufacturing.
At HES Humber Bulk Terminal, around 25 colleagues work hard on matters that affect and shape our daily lives.
They always do so with the highest level of commitment to both safety and care for the environment – essential when working for or with HES Humber Bulk Terminal.
Safety is a team game and every employee has to play their part. The prevention of accidents and incidents is an everyday priority for all employees and contractors at HES Humber Bulk Terminal. We firmly believe that all accidents and incidents are avoidable. Our target goal which we consider to be the absolute minimum is zero, nothing greater than this is an acceptable outcome.
We adhere to all legislation and regulations and strictly follow the operating guidelines of the different trade and product associations, always anticipating future changes and developments. HES Humber Bulk Terminal is accredited with TASCC (Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops) and FIAS (Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme). Our wood pellet operations are ENPlus accredited and we are also a member of UKWA (UK Warehousing Association).
By caring for natural habitat whilst considering the requirements of our employees and customers, we are constantly alert to the potential environmental impact of our activities. Dust is a specific challenge when it comes to dry bulk handling and we have various dust suppression and extraction measures to meet those challenges.As with safety, the environment is a daily team priority.
