Safety is a team game and every employee has to play their part. The prevention of accidents and incidents is an everyday task for all employees and contractors at HES Humber Bulk Terminal. We firmly believe that all accidents and incidents are avoidable. Our target goal which we consider to be the absolute minimum is zero, nothing greater than this is an acceptable outcome.
We strictly follow the conditions and rules resulting from legislation, regulation and the requirements stated in the GMP regulations for the animal feed sector and endeavour to anticipate future developments. HES Humber Bulk Terminal is accredited with TASCC (Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops) also a member of UKWA (UK Warehousing Association).
By caring for nature while considering our employees’ and customers’ requirements, we are constantly alert to the potential environmental issues of our activities. Dust is a specific challenge when it comes to dry bulk handling and we have various dust suppression and extraction measures to meet those challenges. Just as with safety the environment is also an everyday team game.
