HES Botlek Tank Terminal - Bitumen (HBTTB) is a bulk storage and handling facility for bitumen products strategically located in the Port of Rotterdam with access to international trade flows. The terminal is equipped with 31,500 cbm storage capacity spread over 6 storage tanks. The 4 truck loading bays facilitate regional truck exports to the BeneLux, Germany and (Northern) France. Vessels up to 35,000 mt (12.65 meter draft) can be handled at competitive (un)loading rates supporting efficient regional distribution.

Its safe operations, blending and product certification capabilities makes HES Botlek Tank Terminal - Bitumen the preferred bitumen storage facilities in the Amsterdam – Rotterdam – Antwerp (ARA) region.

Land is available to expand the storage capacity with approximately 30,000 cbm with possibility to increase the truck (un)loading and barge/vessel handling capacity.

Logistics & Services

HBTTB provides efficient storage and handling services to the bitumen industry. Heated tanks with mixing capabilities allow customers to blend bitumen grades to the desired PEN value.
