*OPEN SEASON
THE process in DETAIL
Open Season is your opportunity to secure transparent, fair, and future-ready access to CO₂ terminal capacity. Designed as an open and non-discriminatory allocation mechanism, the process ensures equal access to infrastructure while matching capacity development to market demand.
For CO₂ market participants, Open Season offers more than capacity allocation alone. It also enables parties to secure transport and storage declarations for CO₂, providing valuable support for subsidy applications and helping accelerate access to project financing.
After this phase, participants will be requested to sign an NDA after which they will receive an Information Memorandum with more detailed information, including the available commercial options. Through targeted questions, bilateral meetings, and group discussions, we will work closely with participants to build a clear and shared understanding of project requirements.
This phase will culminate in a mutual understanding of reserved capacity which will be agreed in non-binding Heads of Terms agreement. The final step will be to get to a binding Terminal Use Agreement.
